Topics This internship project involved georeferencing a collection of aerial photographs archived by the Water Resources Institute at California State University at San Bernardino in San Bernardino, California.  The photographs have previously been scanned but are identified only as to date and region.  Several hundred specimens cover the areas of Corona, Riverside, San Bernardino, Redlands, Yucaipa, the San Bernardino Mountains, and portions of San Diego county and date back as far as 1921.  To date only one group of photographs has been processed, those taken January 14th, 1967 of an area between San Bernardino and Yucaipa.  A mosaic of these photographs may be viewed using the links below.  The collection at WRI can be viewed online at http://wri.csusb.edu/web-pages/archives/hist-aerial-photos/index.asp.  Thanks to Lisa Pierce of WRI for allowing me to do this.
